R.I.P Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Today the world lost one of its finest.

To honor the late writer, I recommend we all take a moment of silence, during which we all read one of his finest short stories, “A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings: A Tale For Children.” Here is a link: http://salvoblue.homestead.com/wings.html

As Marquez once wrote, “the only regret I will have in dying is if it is not for love.” Marquez wrote so passionately about love, in all of its myriad manifestations, both tragic and tender, both terrifying and timid. The man knew love and was loved, and I know he had no regrets as he left our world.
